Science

St Michael’s follows the Australian Curriculum for Science. Science Content is organised under 3 interrelated strands: 

• Science understanding 
• Science as a human endeavour 
• Science inquiry 

St Michael’s has a particular focus on sustainability, with the use of our large greenhouse and garden spaces providing ‘hands-on’ experiences in understanding how plants live and grow. Learning Science is important for a diverse and capable Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) workforce. Students experience the joy of Scientific discovery, nurturing their natural curiosity about the world around them.
