ACT Track and Field Team 

Congratulations to Mahli (5/6P), Nicole (5/6P) and Olivia (5/6P) who competed at the ACT championships in September. They all achieved outstanding personal best results. Mahli broke the 11 years girls record for the 100m and 200m.

The girls have been selected to the ACT Track and Field Team to compete at the Nationals in November. We wish them luck for their events!

Boroowa Touch and Netball Carnival Update

Boorowa touch football and netball carnival is next Friday 25 October. We are looking forward to a terrific day enjoying playing sport and spending time with friends. A few reminders are below and can also be found on Compass.

Please arrive by 8:30am and meet Mrs Blakey and Mr Howland at our school shade tents.

It is advised to allow an additional 30-45min to your travel time. Traffic will be extremely heavy, and delays are expected approaching Boorowa.

Students need to wear sports uniform, hat and sunscreen. Please be prepared for a range of weather conditions.

Additional food and water is recommended. A canteen will be available.

Draws will be available in the resources tab on Compass when we receive them. Changes to draws can occur on the day of the carnival.

The day is aimed at encouraging participation and fun. Please speak to your child about competing in the ‘spirit of the day’.
