Dear Parents and Carers,
Meals to support families
A simple way we can help our community is to provide a care meal when families are doing it tough. If you can purchase a frozen meal or cook a care meal over the holidays it would be a wonderful way to support others who need a hand. It would be great if you prepare a meal to let us know what the meal is, the date it was cooked and if there are any nuts, allergens etc. Our aim is to build a supply of frozen meals that can assist families short term. It’s amazing how much difference one meal can make when things are tough. Meals can be dropped to front office, many thanks.

Trivia Night
Our next school fundraising event is our Trivia Night on Thursday 8 August. We are on the hunt for any donations from families who own businesses e.g. vouchers, items for a raffle etc. Please drop any donations to the front office or contact us. More details will be sent out early next term, we are looking forward to an entertaining evening.
Generous helpers
As this term draws to a close, I’d like to acknowledge everyone in the community for their ongoing commitment to ensuring our students are enjoying many learning experiences and thriving at St Michael’s. Multiple events happen across a term and their success is due to generosity, good will and hard work. Heartfelt thanks to our teaching and support staff, our Community Council and Working Groups and coaches and volunteers. Thanks also to our Mums who have been spending time to help organise the clothing pool. We are very grateful to all our families who give time to support our school.
Thanks everyone in anticipation for your generosity to St Vincent de Paul as part of Winter Woollies Day, this Friday. Baskets will be put out for donations on Friday morning at drop off. We have an incredibly generous community. I hope all our families can spend some happy time together over the break, and my best wishes to those travelling or visiting family members.
Stay safe and well.
Many blessings,
