OLPH Feast Day
Mother Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, after which our parish is named, is known for miracles and answers to prayers. Tomorrow, the 27th of June, is the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Feast Day. Families are welcome to join us for a liturgy in the church at 9:30am. Students will then participate in activities to deepen their knowledge of our patron saint. We ask Our Lady of Perpetual Help to pray for our community.
Winter Woollies Day
On Friday the 5th of July, we will be having a Winter Woollies Day in support of the Vinnies Winter Appeal. The students will participate in workshops run by the staff of Saint Vincent dePaul to help educate students on social justice. The day will be non-uniform; students can wear their own winter woollies. We are asking families to support the day by bringing in a donation which will be distributed to those experiencing homelessness in our community. Students are asked to bring item/s from the list below:
Rough Sleeping Essentials
New adult sized: gloves, beanies, scarfs, socks and hats;
New/pre-loved: jackets, coats, blankets and sleeping bags.
NB Large sized neutral coloured clothing is preferable
