Building Relationships – 'Community'
Thank you to Mr Simon Carroll from Global School Partners for sharing information about our new partner school in Kenya, the Jariah Education Centre. This week our students are writing letters for students at the Jariah Education Centre as we begin to learn about each other and create connections between our two school communities. As mentioned at the Assembly last Friday, if any parents would like to write their own letters for sending to the Jariah Education Centre please make sure they are sent in to Ms Younger by Monday 29th October.
November is celebrated in the Catholic Church as the month of All Souls. We particularly remember those people we have known and loved who have died and are with God in heaven. The First of November is the Feast of All Saints, when we remember those men and women who are recognised as saints as they have given their whole lives to God. 5/6B are busy preparing Mass for us to celebrate this Feast day on Thursday 1 November. The children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite Saint or Religious Icon. All families are warmly invited to celebrate Mass with us at St Michael’s Church from 9:30am.
