Religious Education
Students in Years 1 & 2 have been learning about the Old Testament this term and they understand it is like a library of different pieces of writing. The children have explored the scriptural stories of Noah’s Ark and Joseph as these two men are key figures in ancient biblical history. They have learned about the ancient land of these stories and what life was like for the people then.

Religious Life of St Michael’s
What a wonderful day last Thursday! After too long the two primary schools in our parishwere able to once again come together to celebrate our parish patron saint’s feast day. Our students in years 3-6 travelled across to St Monica’s and we welcomed the St Monica’s K-2 students here at St Michael’s. Both schools began the day with a liturgy. After morning tea and a chance to make new friends all students participated in fun activities learning more about our shared prayers and the icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. It was a busy day and we congratulate all the students for their beautiful behaviour and keen participation in the day’s events. We also give huge thanks to all staff for their enthusiasm and support of the day.
