Welcome to Week 9 and Happy Easter Everyone!

I cannot believe that we are already one term down for 2021. It has been a brilliant start to the year, but boy has it gone fast! The challenges that we faced at the beginning of last year meant that all the staff at the school haven’t taken the calm start to year for granted.

We are very thankful for all staff at our wonderful school, helping many new students settle in quickly and ensuring that returning students picked up from where they left off. We have had an action-packed term with some highlights including: Water fun day and swimming carnival, Questacon Science Visits, Year 5/6 Camp, and the Sacrament of First Communion just to name a few!

We have also had a great deal of success in revisiting our ‘Keys for Learning’ and ensuring they we are a living part of the culture of our school. We have a great success in this space and the teachers have included this in our weekly awards, acknowledging the great work of students in using the keys to break open their learning and deepening their understandings.

Once again, thank you for a fantastic Term 1. It has been a very productive term and we are only able to be successful due to the fantastic partnerships that are formed with home.
