Principal's Page - Damien Webb
Welcome to week 8!
We are certainly near the pointy end! This term has flown by! Remember to smile, be kind and enjoy the final weeks of the year!
Just another reminder about hats and sunscreen. Now that we are in summer and the temperature is beginning to rise, it is critical that students are wearing hats and sunscreen. This needs to occur before and after school as well as during recess and lunch time. Students who have forgotten or lost hats will be asked to play in the shade. There is plenty of sunscreen in all classrooms for students to reapply, and students are also very welcome to bring in their own sunscreen.
Lost Property
We have now moved lost property to the Front Office, where it will remain for the rest of the term.
There are a large number of jumpers, containers and other items. If your child has misplaced anything, please have a look in the Front Office area. We need to ensure that all lost items are collected by the beginning of week 10.
Rainbow Awards and Harmony Awards
This Friday, the 4th of December we will be giving out the Term 4 Rainbow Awards and also the last Harmony Awards for the term. If your child is receiving an award on Friday, you are more than welcome to come to our morning gathering, beginning at 8:50 to watch your child receive their award.
For all the students who have received Rainbow Awards throughout the year, there will be additional information sent home at the end of this week about the Rainbow Award Celebration Day. This will be occurring on Thursday the 10th of December.
Congratulations to all students who have received awards throughout the year. This is a constant reminder about the wonderful calibre of students that we have attending St Michael’s Primary.
Please never hesitate to come and seek any assistance, especially over the final weeks of the term.
Kind regards,
Damien Webb - Principal (Acting)
