Merry Christmas Everyone,
We have made it to the end of the Year. I’ll keep this one brief. I just want to thank everyone in our amazing community for the continued support of our school. Thank you all for helping us through what has been a tricky and challenging year.
To the students:
Thank you for the way that you have worked throughout the year. You had to go online for a section of the year and watch your teachers through the screen. It was great to see the way that everyone came back with such excitement and pushed themselves hard to catch up on lots of hard work.
To the parents:
Thank for the unwavering support that you have shown the school community. It has been a true testament to the idea in working in partnerships with you and we could not have had the fantastic year without your support. We are very much looking forward to continuing to growing and strengthening this partnership and working closely next year.
To the teachers and staff:
Thank you, thank you thank you. The tireless effort that has gone into this year has certainly been noticed. Your amazing efforts has helped get the most out of this year and everyone in the community is thankful for the wonderful staff we have at St Michael’s. Take a well-deserved break, rest and recharge!

She has achieved at the highest levels across all curriculum areas and continues to push herself, with a tireless work ethic, to demonstrate her skills and knowledge. Samara actively seeks out challenges such as RoboCup and Math Olympiad to extend herself.
The Community Service Award - Phillip Butler has demonstrated a strong commitment to effect positive change in his local community. Phillip enjoys giving back to the community in a variety of ways such as altar serving and being active in fundraising initiatives at St Michael’s. He has different links within and outside of the school community including being an active member of the Tongan community where he takes part in the Multicultural Festival annually. Phillip is a pillar of our community and constantly seeks ways to give back.
The Pastoral Care and Christian Values Award – Joshua Lobo is a student who has fully engaged with the religious life of the school. He is a positive role model for others to follow when it comes to living his faith and fully understands what it means to live in Jesus’ image. Joshua gives his time to altar serve for our parish and school masses and regularly helps out with the younger students in our school. He supports other students in class and sporting activities. Joshua is someone who is always smiling and brings joy to others.
Citizenship Youth Award - Caitlin has constantly supported all members of the school community, and she always does so with a smile. She is very generous with her time and loves to support the younger members of the school. She represents the ideas of challenge and harmony perfectly.
